  • This template is perfect for small- to medium-size businesses looking to launch a beautiful and professional website fast, and at a fraction of the cost of a custom design. Some computer literacy is needed to customize your template, but you do not need to be a designer or Squarespace expert to use them!

  • Unfortunately, Squarespace currently does not allow us to install a template on an existing website. Applying this theme to your current website would be a custom job. If you’re interested in this option, please contact design@lindseymorano.com for details and a quote.

  • Use caution when editing the templates, as technical limitations on Squarespace prevent us from reinstalling the template on your website. We have included backup copies of all pages in their original forms in a folder called “Template Backup Pages” under the Not Linked section, in the event you need to refer back to them or use them to replace one of the pages.

  • Yes. You’ll need to purchase a website plan (view pricing at Squarespace.com/pricing). The Basic plan will work for our templates, but you’re welcome to upgrade further if you would like additional features. You’ll also need a domain (www.yourwebsite.com) which can be purchased through Squarespace or a third party like GoDaddy.com. You may also wish to purchase a branded email address (yourname@yourwebsite.com), the Acuity scheduler, and Squarespace Campaigns email system, but these are all completely optional.

  • Nope! We’ve installed some custom CSS on your template, but we advise leaving it alone if you’re not familiar with CSS. We’ve also included a page on your website that contains a backup of the CSS from your website. So, if your CSS ever gets modified or deleted, you can simply copy and paste it back in.

  • We’ve included Canva templates for these graphics, and we walk you step-by-step through customizing them in our video tutorials included in your purchase. If you opted for the logo template add-on, you’ll also receive those files plus walkthrough videos.

  • Yes, the photos are licensed for commercial use from Unsplash and Pexels. Read about their terms on Unsplash.com and Pexels.com. 

  • That’s ok! Some computer literacy is required to edit the templates, but we’ve created video tutorials for complete Squarespace beginners.

  • Yes, this template includes both a Blog and Shop. You can fully customize both to your business, and we walk you through each step.

  • Yes. We’ve tested this template on common browsers as well as mobile devices.

  • We’ve designed the page structures, URLs, and headings with SEO in mind. We’ve also included an SEO checklist with your purchase that you can adapt to your business and website.

  • This template is for 7.1 and will not work on 7.0. If you already have a 7.0 website, that’s ok! This template will always come as a new website, and you’ll need to manually copy your content over, even if you already have a 7.1 website.

  • 7.0 is an older version of Squarespace. 7.1 is a new editing system that uses Fluid Engine. Like 7.0, it uses a drag & drop editor, but the customization tools are more powerful than 7.0.

  • Free Squarespace templates can be great for some people. However, they’re widely used and therefore it may be tougher to create something that stands out from the crowd. Our templates are designed strategically for your industry, and with a premium look and feel not found in free templates.

  • Due to the digital nature of this product, returns and refunds are not possible. 

  • The license is a non-transferable, non-exclusive, single-seat license (1 website per purchase). If you’re a designer or someone who wishes to use the template for multiple websites, you must purchase additional licenses or contact us for a commercial license.

  • You must keep our credit tag, “Designed by Onyx Templates,” visible at the bottom of your website unless you purchase a commercial license from us.

  • Yes! However, each purchase comes with one license. Therefore if you wish to use this template for multiple clients, you must purchase additional licenses.
